Ok, I'm gonna try posting some images I uploaded to flickr. These are fairly quick photoshop manipulations to show the key frames in my suggestion in option 1 above to smoothly remove Ross' offending lines about the fridge. The third and fourth images don't actually exist in the film ... they are compilations of various frames, taken from video segments that I think could be edited and combined the same way.
