I don't believe that was actually a "Jedi Temple", I don't think it was ever called that in Anderson's books. The Jedi academy was set up in the ancient temple ruins on Yavin 4. So the word temple is used quite often in those books, but as far as I have read, it never suggests that Jedi have temples or are suppost to have temples.
