Possible Star Wars Holiday Special screening in NYC! — Page 3

Sat through it with a friend today.  People came in and out but no one else stayed for the whole thing besides us. 

It was definitely from VHS because I saw the white line running across the bottom of the screen, going from left to right horizonatally throughout.  It was in pretty bad shape and definitely not what you'd expect from the museum at all.  It was MUCH worse than what we have on bootleg, with smearing all over the place. 

For those interested, it was recorded from a Los Angeles TV station.

That is ashame. I had these images in my head of you guys getting to sit down to a pristine screening of the HS. Guess I didn't miss out on too much. Kind of cool though, I imagine because of this many HS virgins have now taken a step into a larger world... and learned what an awful world it is.

Yeah...i had high hopes as well.  What can you do? 

They should have let you drink while watching it. ^^
