That somebody was Princess Leia. And she was clueless from the moment they entered the "cave"....However Han had his suspicions from the start and once he knew for sure what he was in he had to get fast.....he didn't have time to explain it to her, or to discuss it in committee....

I do know what you're getting at, but I've always liked to think that although Han realised that there was something amiss, Leia (who said the line) had never encountered such an entity as this in her experience before, and simply didn't really register / comprehend that those were actual gigantic teeth in the distance, of some monstrous worm they were now inside of, rather than just the asteroid cave they initially entered....

Hope that helps a little. I'd rather keep the teeth though, than have a 'gumsy' worm, regardless of that line.

OK so its been a while since I've seen this one, I coundn't remember if it was her or 3PO that said it. (don't hurt me)

For Me, Leia comes off as being really thick in this scene.

It never occured to me that the snakes and lizards were at all out of place. Like was said, if Luke is a human, why cant there be snakes? There are also ravens on Endor (Go "Ewok Adventures!") I don't know if the scene would be improved by the addition of feathers on the snake, or the gilla monster have eight legs.

Don't know if this has been mentioned and I'm not going through 186 other pages to find out.

The AT-AT pilots have a red stripe down the back of their helmets towards the end of the Walker Battle.

I took a look on a PC using Internet Exploder and not only did I see the message you saw but I couldn't read half the posts either (waa, waa, waa).

Lucky I wasn't thinking about having something to eat after seeing that screen shot from "The Thing" (with the current fad for 80's monster team-ups I wonder how long it will be before we get to see "Things And Stuff"?...Is this an audience or an oil painting? Who the hell are you? Where's Dave?")

Haha. Both videos entertained me. Totally offtopic, but funny.

I didn't notice the combined binocular graphics until they were pointed out. I am a big fan of the new ones. Very nice looking.

I refuse to use the 2004 versions as the color is an utter travesty. Just fixing that puts Adywan's version light years ahead of the official dvd. I also enhanced the contrast/saturation and sharpened it a little in vegas so it would show up better here. (I know edge enhancement is bad for motion but it does make still images look better [particularly stars] and make anything else in the image more noticeable.)

Yeah, that's definately been previously flagged up, but I don't know what page. I don't think Adywan confirmed if he was going to add or remove them, so that the shots are consistent. I hope he adds, as I really like that extra colour in those shots.

Please, no messing around with the Asteroid Worm's dentures.... But yes, John Carpenter's 'The Thing' is awesome stuff still. :)

This may have been brought up before, and if so I apologize, but I was watching the GOUT DVD this morning and I noticed that when the Falcon releases its landing claw and starts to float away from the Star Destroyer, the view through the cockpit frame has this awful flub in the composite on the right side of the cockpit frame where it looks like they misaligned the background plate because there is this dark gray "screen edge," a perfectly straight edge that is dark gray and covers some of the Falcon's cockpit windows as they float away - clearly unintended, a serious effects flaw.

Is this in the Special Edition/2004 DVD?
