OK it's not the best quality, but hey!!

But man, all that screaming and whistling would seriously piss me off if I was in that cinema. I've never, ever been to see a film where the crowd acts like that. Must be an American thing. We Brits are much more reserved!! :)

Anyhow, enjoy it in all it's crapo-vision. Looks OK, bit hard to tell to

Well, the new official trailer is different to the crappo-vision youtube version I put up, but I still think this looks pretty cool. Lots of mutants around..Gambit, Blob..err...yeah, don't really know my X-Men mutants, but still, looks pretty good!

That was the preview from the San Diego Comic Con.  Movie goers aren't like that, huge nerds at a nerd festival are.

What I wouldn't give to go that nerd festival...

While i like Wolverine as a character i'm not sure they will do justice to his origins onscreen.

To me the mini series by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont which were done before Wolvie got his own comic series were the best.

Before the new X-men comic was launched that had him as a member of the team.

They got the Wolverine character in the films as close as humanly possible to the comics.  I totally buy the cigar chomping badass as he was portrayed in the x-men films.  This new movie Gets Gambit totally wrong though he looks metro and nothing like the guy who wears the trench coat and is a gambler, ladies man.

Well they messed that up in the X-men films anyways as Rogue was supposed to be Gambits girl, not Iceman.  Iceman would have been too old anyway not a teen.

That being said i would rather see X-men 4 or a redo of 3 that does justice to the first 2 films.

The second real trailer was much better than the comic con stuff, still i am getting an Incredible Hulk vibe from this and that is not good.  I mean Ang Lee's version too.

Another X-men film by Bryan Singer or just reboot the whole godamn thing since the films did zero justice to the comics for those who cared.  You know Cyclops character was ruined in the movies.  In fact the X-men trilogy could as easily been the Wolverine trilogy.

Even the actor they got to play Stryker in this film is all wrong.  I hate the way he reads his lines.

and an virtually unknown director.  The only thing they got right was the casting of Wolverine.

Well i know to comic book nerds an australian playing a canadian is bogus, but they will never be pleased with anything anyways.

Since the X-men first class went back to the classic Jack Kirby style i wonder if they would make a movie based on that. An X-men movie true to the spirit and look of the kirby books, would be fucking awesome!

Still they already ruined Silver Surfer and the fantastic four.  Some like the new take on Iron Man i still don't buy Downey as stark though.  I think the new Ironman is adequate.  I don't think it nails the comic as some seem to think, and i don't think it is the worst movie ever either.  Most of the Marvel adaptations are hit and miss.

DC got it right with Nolans take on Batman in Batman Begins.  And it works in Dark knight as well, i just don't want a dark superman because that is not what superman is.  Unless its alternate universe and Kingdom Come superman.   I would definetely pay to see that as a movie.

Don't even get me started on what JMS did to Spiderman, The killing off of Captain America and Batman= fail.

I still don't know what to think of Joss Whedon's take on X-men and how a movie based on that would be.

UPDATE:

YOU HAVE TO ADD THE OFFICIAL WOLVERINE MOVIE MYSPACE PROFILE TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST IN ORDER TO WATCH THE TRAILER.

I'll wait for it to show up somewhere else.  I'm not going to go and create a myspace profile just to watch a movie trailer.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

To bad Comic-Con hasn't been a "nerd festival" in many years.  Trust me, Comic-Con is about pop culture now.  The days of it being "50,000 geeks" in one place are over.

They've removed the friend requirement.  You can watch it just by visiting the site now.

EDIT: I love it!  "We just spent a half million dollars making a man indestructable."  So awesome!

Heh, I saw his first sentence and just skipped the rest.  The first X-Men wasn't all that great, but it was a good start.  X2 was much better since we actually had the X-Men using their powers.  X3 was so so though with just a lot of inconsistencies and the piss poor way they got rid of Cyclops.

An adaptation of the Miller/Claremont teaming if what fans have wanted all along.

Dumb hollywood types seriously.

The first time I saw the Rocky Balboa trailer was in a cinema in LA - the whole crowd started cheering and chanting 'ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!'

Well funny.

I think I just let the Yanks get on with it.

I wanted to join in though!  My Britishness wouldn't let me.

That is funny.

I have lived the much of my life in the states, and I have never heard anything like that. Not that I go to the movies all that often though.

When I went opening day to see SW Ep1, I remember the cheers were quite loud once the movie started....it was erie quiet when the movie was over however....

It really depends on the theater you go to guys.  In my area, Big Newport and Irvine Spectrum are pretty much the only areas you'll find people cheering for trailers and at premieres.  Hell, at Big Newport, people bring beach balls and outright party during premieres.  Other than that, it just doesn't happen.  In Los Angeles, Gruman's and the Arclight (it's not called that anymore) are the two big ones.

So it really just depends on the theater in your area.
