unny stuff there ladyferry

 

Well TFN can go f**k themselves. I have just got banned with no reason even given. I did nothing over at those boards apart from defending someone who didn't like my edit and was being attacked for saying he didn't. I wasn't aggressive in any manor. Now they're trying to make out that i'm not adywan but in fact the guy who started the argument

The mods there can stick their pathetic site so far up their arse that they'll be able to clean their teeth with it.

I don't like the way they seem to have someone who can just stick their own additional comments into someone's post, like the guy who had the opinion that it was better than the 04 release with the blue comment that LFL wouldn't like it...they take themselves far too seriously in my opinion. It's a forum - everyone has differing views! It seems they prefer fanmovie to fanedit...obviously tampering with the 'Great God's Movie' is taboo!

Anyway, long live the Revisited series! Now about that snowflake on Chewie's foot.... :p

TF.net mods and Admin's are Lucasfilm brown-nosers. I hardly ever visit there anymore. Sorry to hear you were banned Ady. It's shocking to see they blamed you.

I do really like The Force Cast though.....haven't spent much time in the forums over there....I wonder if the force cast guys have seen Adywans edit....I think they would love it!

Seriously? I once quit a forum because of garbage like that.

 

I've never been on a forum where you're censured for having an opinion by anyone. Having an opinion is an individual right. Whether it goes against one or another is purely down to someone's preference at the time and should be respected. Just because LFL might not like that someone prefers a fanedit over the official product shouldn't mean someone can edit a post and say so...that's too much of a nanny state!

TFN was my first board.  I got completely spoiled on Episode II there.  I remember some dumb arguments, and I was eventually persuaded to ignore the EU as canon through their efforts to convince me to accept it.  Sad that not even really even defending your edit caused bannination.  I wish I still posted there so I could leave in protest...

Well the ban was lifted. It seems like it was just down to a mistake. they haven't altered anything i posted so all is good once again.

Ok here's a very short clip of the approach to dagobah. Again its a split screen but this time it is a completed scene with tweaked FX, and an attempt to sort out the horrible re-colour job ILM did on R2's dome.

Awesome work there Ady.  But what are those white dots out the window of the X-Wing?  I've never seen them before.

Oh wait, stars.  In Star Wars.  Imagine that!

But seriously, I like the new stars and atmosphere tweaks.  And R2 being a shade of blue that doesn't look like he's glowing from some internal light source.

Awesome stuff once again, and a huge improvement on the 2004 release.  You are doing incredible work. 

And on top of the excellent blue MF engine glow, new starfields and atmosphere, and R2 panel re-colouring....you've gotten rid of that bloody annoying 'white blob' that mysteriously appears at the end of the cave shot!  Brilliant.  :)

Ah yes. At first, I thought maybe it was an asteroid appearing as they reach the end of the tunnel, but no...looks like a reflection or lens flare or something? Man, R2 looks great now! Excellent job on that, Ady!
