Idea: For my PT & OT edit Test Clip included

Okay. My idea for an edit is pretty similar to Star Wars Renascent and other such projects but instead of telling the PT and OT stories side by side, It simply tells the story of the OT story with flashbacks to flesh out the story. The story focuses on Vader as the primary character instead of Luke and he and Obi-Wan initiate most of the flashbacks. This edit is designed to tell “The Story of Anakin Skywalker” like the real saga never could. Many new and confusing PT elements can be eliminated while still keeping the elements that flesh out and add depth to the OT. I will post a test clip of how I’ll do flashbacks in a few minutes. Uploading as we speak.

I wanted to having Admiral Piett interrupt Lord Vader in the middle of the flashback instead of just Vader breathing but I couldn't find a good audio bite to use. This is more a technical demonstration than anything else.

Huh... it works, but if yo ucan get the suitable audio clip then I say go for Piett interrupting him.

if I'm not mistaken, with 5.1 surround tracks it is possible to isolate the voice clips...

It seems to work well, although like the previous post, perhaps you can find a clip of Piett saying 'Lord Vader...' as part of the interruption. The breathing could be with being faded in a little more subtly as well as a way of him returning to the present but nice work...
