I have windows on my mac to be able to use MeGUI and tsMuxeR. I use these tools to convert HDTV broadcast captures to x264 AVCHD on DVD9 for my PS3. Now I'm not a full time windows video guy, so I don't know ALL the tools out there. All I want is to be able to cut the TV commercials out at a frame accurate level directly with the MPEG-2 capture. The software for my Elgato EyeTV Hybrid USB tuner capture device (OS X) does not allow frame accurate editing. I can't find anything on the Mac side that will do this directly with the MPEG-2 stream without transcoding/re-encoding. I'm sure there is a solution on windows, preferably free. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
