In short: I'm with TheoOdo and others, who say that J.Williams' musical style and R.McQuarrie's (and Joe Johnston's, Nilo Rhodis-Jamero's etc. as well) visual style is what makes Star Wars - Star Wars. I have, like, 4 albums "art of SW" with visual designs for old trilogy. This is the thing I assimilated as a child, and that is why I complain about current state of SW.
