Star Wars:

Editing/Cinematography- 10/10

Excellent

Story/Writing- 7/10

A classic adventure tale, not much else to say. Some bad lines

Acting- 8/10

Believable.  alec guinness was great. Others were decent.

Visual Effects/Art Design- 9/10

Imaginative "used future" look. Imaginative characters are made believable. Budget and time constraints are evident. Somewhat dated

Score- 10/10

Classic

Overall: 9/10

(A classic, groundbreaking film)

The Empire Strikes Back:

Editing/Cinematography- 9/10

Lots of classic moments. Moves a bit slowly compared to the first one.

Story/Writing- 9/10

A lot more going on. Much more depthful and resonant. Less cheesy

Acting- 8/10

Good job making FX characters like Yoda believable. No more Alec Guinness :(

Visual Effects/Art Design- 8/10

Continues great design started in ANH. Still Dated. Less imaginative by today's standards

Score- 10/10

Classic, although there are a few weirdly misplaced themes

Overall: 9/10
(A classic. Remembered for being better than it's predecessor)

Return of The Jedi:

Editing/Cinematography- 8/10

Lacks the deft editing of the previous two. Still great though

Story/Writing- 6/10

Entertaining at the beginning and end but ultimately a missed opportunity.

Acting- 7/10

Up to par with ANH mostly. Some scenes poorly acted. Ultimately a step down.

Visual Effects/Art Design- 9/10

The movie's saving grace. Especially on Tatooine it looks spectacular.

Score- 9/10

Still Great

Overall: 8/10

(A bit of a disappointment but by no means a bad movie. A nice ending if your watching the 6 as a saga)

The Phantom Menace:

Editing/Cinematography- 8/10

A Mixed Bag. Some Great moments. Drags on a little bit.

Story/Writing- 6/10

A bit cheesy and a bit of a missed opportunity but more entertaining than Jedi IMO.

Acting 5/10

A lot of Bad. Liam Neeson and Ewan MacGregor are good. I can't say that for anyone else.

Visual Effects/Art Design- 9/10

Most Impressive. A bit childish at times though.

Score 8/10

Still Great. could use a few more OT themes

Overall- 7/10

(An entertaining, fresh Star Wars but obviously more child oriented. Not sure whats up with the acting...)

Attack of The Clones:

Editing/Cinematography- 6/10

Nothing Special here. Movie drags along

Story/Writing- 4/10

Just badly done. Bad writing and not much of a story to speak of

Acting 4/10

Has gotten even worse.  Ewan MacGregor and Christopher Lee are good but by no means save the rest of the cast. 4/10 only for some good moments.

Visual Effects/Art Design- 6/10

The Battle of Geonosis features some great looking but design but overall there is way to huge a reliance on digital effects. I'd take the bland look of Empire over the cartoon look of Clones any day.

Score- 6/10

Nothing noteworthy except across the stars theme. I'm going to guess that the editors had more to do with the problems with the score than Williams

Overall- 5/10

(Barely enjoyable. Doesn't even feel like Star Wars)

Revenge of the Sith:

Editing/Cinematography- 8/10

Pretty Good. Montage at end is very well done.

Story Writing- 5/10

There is more substance here than Clones but writing is still often cringeworthy

Acting- 6/10

A ramp up from Clones. Ewan MacGregor is good as always and Ian McDiarmid delivers and excellent if exaggerated performance that's funny and scary at the same time. Lots of cringeworthy stuff from other actors though and some bad moments.

Visual Effects/Art Design- 8/10

It still looks video gameish but there are so many breathtaking spectacles that you may be willing to forget that and just marvel at the scenery. It doesn't look like Star Wars but it's great for what it is.

Score- 7/10

A big step up from clones but there's lots of missed opportunities.

Overall- 7/10

(Has a lot of the same issues as clones but it's far more entertaining. Feels like a part of the sage)

The Clone Wars:

Editing Cinematography- 7/10

Well Done. The movie is no Wall-E however

Story/Writing- 7/10

Again Well Done. Obviously more child oriented

Voice Acting- 6/10

Decent. Isn't going to win any awards

Visual Effects/Art Design- 8/10

Very enjoyable. Works well. I really like the wood carved, hand painted look and the matte paintings. Has a classic Star Wars feel as well as a prequel grandness

Score- 5/10

Not comparable to a Williams score. They should have gone with stock Williams music. Takes away from Star Wars feel

Overall: 7/10

(It's ambitions aren't the same as the other movies but for what it is, it's good)

And that's my opinion
