Agreed. In fact, I believe Adywan mentioned never seriously considering actually putting it in revisited. I think he made it as kind of a concept of what he could potentially do with the scene, with Jar Jar thrown in as a joke. I like the idea behind it, not the Jar Jar bit, but seeing the destruction from a more detailed point of view, including the perspective of someone on the planet surface. Adds emphasis to the fact that a whole planet of people just died, and brings you closer to Obi-Wan's reaction. The destruction of this planet is a huge event, that is basically forgotten after a few seconds of screen time.

Ha, I just saw my first few minutes of "The Clone Wars" and I must say, there is so much CGI in the PT that you hardly notice TCW is animated :)

well, we haven't seen too many battles yet, but the other thing that i've noticed about

shows with war plots, is you usually dont' see the dark/evil side win too often..

i've just started watching the 'v' series (the tv show/miniseries) , and although the

aliens are winning overall , they pretty much get outsmarted / beaten in every episode

i've seen.

also, shows like battlestar galactica, terminator, and older ones like m*a*s*h, hogans heros, and pretty much every other war related show,

the bad guys always have had an overall advantage, but you don't see them showing that a lot..

i think people would get tired / bored if the bad guys won every time, or even most of the time.

sure, there's a balance to that, that they could find..

but in the case of clone wars, since the empire/dark side has such a huge advantage,

what would be the point of showing it over and over again?

even grievous had to get to his point of power by winning a lot of battles/wars/fights and

outsmarting the enemy.... i'm sure there will some episodes upcoming that will show that.

we'll just have to see how it goes...

 I know isn't it just disappointing? no suspense, just think if this had come out between II and III, oh man Lucas is kicking himself right now for sure.

Come to think of it, would it have been any more suspenseful if it had been made in between episodes II and III?  Nothing too terribly earth-shattering can happen to any of the movie's main characters, otherwise, it would be in the movies instead of the spin-off series.  At the end of the day, it's like watching Star Trek.  You know that when the landing party beams down, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy will be alright, but that redshirt you never saw before...

excellent new episode..

for the finale of the r2d2 2 parter..

i really liked the twists, and seeing grievous

being evil...

lots of great fights, and action too...

this is one of my new favorite episodes..

i can't believe they packed so much into one episode!

 Looks to be extremely over-the-top slapstick crazy Jar Jar bs, there's a fun drinking game to play with this, every time Jar Jar says something that ends in "esa" take a shot, you'll be smashed 5 min. in. I was slightly disappointed with Ashoka fighting Grievous, he'd of killed her instantly, they should have just had her run for it. Artoo was pretty bad ass though beating on that scheming R3 bastard.

well , it was a fun episode with jar jar..

yes, there was a couple of times where people kept

thinking he got killed off (which is probably the ONLY

reason why they watched this episode)..

but anyways, it was a nice break from all the serious

stuff....

amidala ROCKED though!!!!!!

after this, they'll go back to more dramatic stories..

Well I'm digging the show.

For me it's a nice little thing to watch in between the two X-Factor shows on Saturday night...(only UK-ers know what the hell I'm talking about)

I'm curious.  Did they manage to get Ahmed Best, or is it a different actor voicing Jar-Jar?

 Its Ahmed, hes got nothin going on lol. He even voiced Jar Jar in Robot Chicken, I doubt he'd miss out on this.

I like this show so far.  it's cool and the storys are good.   IMO the Girls have that "Anime" look at lease in there eyes.   

 I look forword to buying the season 1 blu-ray box next year.

can't do anything right, well here you go..

excellent fight scenes, and lots of tension/betryals etc...

and the next episode looks even better!!!!

for all those people saying this series is for kids only..

yeah, maybe some of the episode look that way..
