As for the R2 flying thing, the only instance in which R2 could have made good use of this function in the original trilogy would have been escaping from Jabba's Barge in ROTJ.

As I've said before, I don't mind Ady or anyone else tinkering with Jedi.

It might be easier to put that into Jedi than to take it out of the prequel trilogy.
