Not if the original continued to exist and you acknowledged its creator. Oh wait... how many millions of copies has Star Wars sold? How many of us will, even though we despise the colour problems and the SE fiddling, and have a version without them, still go and buy it again when it comes out on Blu-Ray?
Hmmm, but I guess it would be slightly different with the Van Gogh, as there would only be one, and it would be mine, so I could do what I like with it. As you say, there are eight gazonkillion copies of some version of SW out there, and everyone owns at least two, I'm sure.
"It's not like I like the MPAA, I hate it but....there's nothing I can do about it right now! It's all such a long way from here..."
"Now that's your Uncle Sam talking!"
"Oh, boy my Uncle...!"
"Learn about the power of the Fanedit, Luke!"
