Wow, you just reminded me of how underused Dooku was in the PT. While I doubt it's possible to do in a seamless way, I'd love to see more depth added to Dooku's character. Maybe we could dub in a sound bite from, say, a book on tape, animated special, or video game in which Christopher Lee or a sound alike as Dooku talks about how incensed he was at the Jedi Order after the death of Qui-Gon. If it's a sound alike, the voice could be tampered with t make it sound a bit more like Christopher Lee.

That doesn't mean that those particular aliens were Republic citizens.
