Doctor M said:Out of curiosity I took a look at Kaminski's Imdb listing. I think the list includes at least 5 of the most disappointing movies of the past several years (that should have been MUCH better).
Spielberg definitely is in love with this guy though.
Thats not saying Much. Spielberg is in love with Michael Bay who destroyed transformers, he is in love with shia lebouf, and also enamored with George Lucas. He also likes That guy koepp who wrote some of the worst scripts with war of the worlds and kingdom of the crystal skull.
I don't trust Spielberg anymore, his eye for talents these days is dubious at best.
Everybody on Indy IV phoned it in Including John Williams. This movie should just have not been made.
Spielberg and Lucas destroyed Indiana Jones and Lucas destroyed star wars.
When i heard Spielberg Got the Rights to Ghost in the Shell i was horrified. After raping Indiana Jones please don't ruin another classic. Go wreck TIN TIN and stay away from oshiis classic masterwork.
Everyone waited for the day Spielberg would make a worse film than 1941 and he actually delivered his worse performance ever as a director here, He let Lucas ruin the story and add bad fake cgi. Might as well have had Lucas direct it. A lot of people think he did it totally feels like from the jar jar creator.
Ox the retard and that stupid triple agent guy would fit right in with jar jar.
I don't have any problem with Kaminski. The Guy worked on Saving Private Ryan and Shindler's List. He also worked on Minority Report, AI. He just is not the same as Douglas Slocombe. But i did not have a problem with his cinematography in Indy IV. He was obviously doing his job and what he was told to do. Also i am sure the footage looked way better as shot and was more naturalistic than the final color grading and the fake cgi make it look. The final color grading makes it look like it was all shot on HD video (overly saturated blown out colors and plastic looking) which is retarded why bother shooting on film at all then?
The only films i hated Kaminski did were War of the Worlds and Indy 4 and neither had anything to do with the cinematography.
