Yes, but Cruciatus would bend him backwards in a spider walk, like in the Exorcist; he wouldn't even be able to get near the computer. Avada Kedavra just seems too humane.

Good point. What's the spell that Hermione used to freeze (dammit, I can't remember his name) in the first movie when he tried to stop them from leaving the Gryffindor commonroom to go on an adventure? Wound up getting the House Cup winning points for standing up to his friends. Remember the scene?

It's been interesting having read all 5 books and seen the first 2 HP films. I'm frankly impressed with how the production crew and directors managed to maintain its core of the storyline in the book and captured on film. Sure there were quite a few changes, but done well to change over to the next scene without much confusion.
I certainly am looking forward to seeing the Prisoner of Azkaban film. Hope it'll be just as good as the last 2. Here's hoping. The trailer does make it look great...I'm just hoping it's as good as it's showing in trailers.

Shortest, eh? Hmmm... that's funny since it's a longer book than the first two and I don't think any of the pages are particularly wasted on superfluous crap.
