Well, I downloaded (and am seeding) the divx version of the "clean" cut, but I think I'm far more interested in the grainy, dirty version...
Thanks for the interest.
I think the dirty version would only be interesting with a correct DVD quality, because a compressed divx + grainy and dirty filters... it should be a mess!
I think it will take time to do all 6 episodes of the dirty version.
First I need to correct some faults on the cards (as well as one or two rough audio cuts maybe), then I need to place the filters, and they takes a long time to render when I compile the final video.
And I still want to do some little more tests. I think this videos are a bit too bright compare to the pictures. Just a bit.
And I'm making my french cards, too.
As for the sound issue... I don't think that an "old" sound should runs all along the movie. Sometimes it's a pleasure for the eyes to see dirty things (...) but when it comes to the hears it is usualy irritating!
Maybe at some points in the movie, when scenes themselves have an old feeling (romantic music, cantina music). But I still have to search, and find, a good filter for that.
