I STILL WANT TO BE LIKE PETER PAN AND NEVER GROW UP, BECAUSE IF I DO I MAY NEVER FIND THAT OT MAGIC AGAIN.

I 've never subscribed to this theory because I didn't get into SW until I was like 14 or 15. Plus i like TPM and I saw that when I was 20.

ANd I use to like ROTJ more then ANH but now I can see the faults of ROTJ and the brilliance of ANH as my taste have matured.

My dad is a good example as well because he loves the OT and he was 27 when ANH came out.

Most importantly though, as my knowledge of filmmaking has expanded, I can see that ANH and ESB are just really really well crafted films, told with tight pacing and solid filmmaking bravado. The reason I don;t like AOTC is because I consider the writing, and editing to be shabby. I think production values aside its one of the most problematic films I've ever seen, rife with errors left right and center.

Maybe If I was a kid I would like them all equally, but I'm not, and kids like teletubies so who cares what they think.
