the problem is that the Terminator series (like Aliens) had a lot of potential... if you read the

novels, or graphic novels, you'll see they had a lot of better plots (although sometimes just

as confusing)........................... i'm not a Huge fan of aliens / terminator, but i've actually

watched them a lot more than i've ever watched the star war series... so that's why i

feel more strongly about the way they've been mishandled....

the first terminator and the first alien movie are among my all time favorites, and great

classics of film (just like 'star wars' is)..... so it is grating and annoying that they've

been mishandled badly ..... with star wars i give it more leeway, because i'm not as

entrenched in the stories (i think i lost touch back in the late 80's)... but am now slowly

getting back into it..
