Firstly, Lucas is not the only person responsible for Star Wars. It's not like a novel writer who writes a book all by themselves. Actors, directors, writers and all manner of crew and other people contributed significantly to Star Wars. Without them it would not have been the Star Wars we love. Lucas did not create Star Wars by himself. It's not just his creation, it's other people's creation too.
so why don't other people get blamed for all the issues with Star Wars?????????????????????????????, he's not the only
person involved with the SE, but no seems to remember that, or believe it.. they only blame him.
Secondly, the Star Wars trilogy is not any old film, they're classics and as classics they are works of art that are collectively owned. Legally Lucas may own them, but morally we all do.
maybe to you they are classics, but not to everybody... i would hardly call 'the empire strikes back',
or 'return of the jedi' classics..... only the first one....
and no, i don't agree with the 'morally' part either, what does that mean?
And he mutilated this dear beloved thing that belongs to all of us. He had no right to destroy a classic. What he did was a crime.
no it does 'not belong to all of us', why do you think that?
and what crime exactly happened?
