I have grown up with the red lasers the AT ATs, and i havent really thought about the imperial continuity issue, until now. If it was done, it would stand out like a sore thumb for me, as i would wonder.........erm, why? Star Destroyers shoot green, and if you want to get technical, AT ATs shoot red because....thats what AT ATs do!
