In all fairness, Sky said "Metal Gear Solid" franchise and not "Metal Gear" franchise. So I guess that all depends on if you consider them two different series or not, since the numbering restarts, I tend to consider the Solids as a spin off series from the Metal Gear series.
Though I do not own a current gen console, if I were to get one it would be the 360. Though I think the PS2 is a thing of perfection, I have yet to be too impressed by the PS3 (though in all fairness, it is still in its infancy). I tend to like the titles that are released exclusively on 360 to the ones released on the PS3. Metal Gear Solid 4 possibly being a perpetual PS3 exclusive (technologically speaking, it seems as though it would be nearly impossible to port it to the 360) saddens me, but regardless, I still think I'd prefer the 360.
I agree with you sky that the SNES was better than the 64. I still consider the SNES the greatest console of all time. But I think the N64 deserves much more credit than a lot of people give it. Even though I don't consider the sixty four the greatest console of all time, it is my all time favorite console. It was an amazing intoduction into the world of 3D console gaming that didn't look like pixelated crap that took hours to load.
