I agree with sky on the crappiness of MMOs. I like to keep my gaming life and my social life seperate. If I want to interacts with other real people, I will go out and do so in person... or at OT.com... but yeah, I don't like MMOs. I prefer a solo experience with an engaging storyline, and one that I can revisit years down the road and enjoy all over again if I so choose, and doesn't require monthly fees and the sacrifice of a massive portion of my life.

Couldn't have put it better myself.  Online is the big thing in gaming right now, but I'm just having a hard time getting on the bandwagon.  I have managed to do some of the polling stuff on my Wii.  Other than that, it's hard for me to get involved in something that I know requires the popularity of other people to stay active.  I still own nearly every game I've ever owned, and it's just depressing to think that, ten years from now, if I try to play, for example, Mario Kart Wii online that hardly anyone's gonna be around to play with.  It seems people only buy games for the short term experience nowadays and sell them as soon as they finish them.  I always return to my old games, and that's why I have a hard time getting excited about online multiplayer and MMOs.
