I enjoyed War of the Worlds. I know there are things wrong: Tom Cruise, too much screaming, annoying son, son living at the end. But the look and effects were great. The opening scene with the tripods was great.

But because of Crystal Skull doesn't really mean we have to banish Steven from the filmmaking world.

I think they need to bring back Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote the screenplay for Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi.

I can picture George leaning over Lawrence while he was writing Return of the Jedi.

"And there's these little creatures called Ewoks."

"E who?"

"Ewoks, they're cute cuddly fury things."

"Umm. How about a planet of Wookies?"

"NO! I want my Ewoks! I want the Ewoks!"

"Ok George, calm down. That's it. Put down the lamp. I'll put in the Ewoks."

"Great. The fans are going to love it."

What's wrong with Munich? That film was great.
