CartoonBeaver gets to his local Best Buy right when the open on September 21st, since he figured there would be a line in the morning he left much earlier so he would be first in line at the store. Before he left his house he grabbed some printed documents and other information that he will use to persuade people not to buy Star Wars on DVD.
CartoonBeaver arrives at Best Buy and as people come up to wait outside of Best Buy he introduces himself politely and begins to ask if they are here for the Star Wars DVDs. If so CartoonBeaver hands them a piece of paper and starts to explain how if we the consumers do not take a stand now we will never see the ORIGINAL trilogy ever again. We will also say that (no matter how you personally feel) that Lucas's choice to make the Special Editions the "definitive" story (even though we know he's got an "archive" edition coming) we still would like to preserve this CLASSIC movie for others to watch for the first time.
From there the person has two choices, ignore you or say okay. If they say okay ask them if they would mind staying there with you to inform others or if they would like to come to the store later in the day and help ask people not to buy the DVDs.
WE CAN DO THIS, IT'S GOING TO REQUIRE ORGANIZATION THAT SHOULD START ON THIS SITE, A MAP OF THE COUNTRY WITH PEOPLE VOULUNTEERING THEIR TIME AND WHAT STORE THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO TO! WE HAVE LITTLE TIME!!!
