That is why it doesn't work man, if you break down and start eating carbs, your not really on a low carb diet. I personally know a few people who have had great success with this diet, but they all gained the weight back later. That is the problem with any diet, and why none of them really work. A diet is a temporary change in lifestyle and eating habbits, so it should be no surprise to most people when the results are also temporary. The best way to loose weight and stay healthy is to exercise. Nobody wants to hear that, but it is the truth. Laziness and weightloss being compatible is a myth, or if you do manage to find away, it probably isn't something very healthy for you (drugs, parasite, etc.).

Just try walking for an hour a day, it isn't the best exercise program out there, but you'd be surprised how much it helps when your body is used to sitting around and being inactive all day. An hour a day seems like a long time, but it really isn't. Just find a nice park nearby or an area you like and start walking, the hour will be over before you know it. It is a good time for thinking, but if you must, grab a pair of headphone and a music player. On top of the hour a day, watching what you eat wont hurt. If you are quite over weight, it probably means you eat considerably more than you actually need. Eat the things you enjoy, but eat them in smaller quantities. Limit the amount of "crap" you eat as well, don't indulge in donuts or fast food all the time, once or twice a month is okay, but if you make it a daily or weekly habit, you are just hurting yourself. Coca-Cola, and other pop/soda/whatever you want to call it, it also pure crap. If you are a soda drinker, dropping that out of your life will be a big improvement.

It is really sad to see so many people in their college years being so overweight, and then to see them spend their freetime sitting around playing video games and having contests to see who can eat the most pizza in the cafe just so they can brag "I ate 17 slices!!!". Once you get older, you'll find that weight nearly impossible to loose, while right now it is not as hard as you think.

Don't diet, be active and cut back. If you want the weight loss to last, don't do it temporarily, but make it part of your lifestyle.
