I hate to break it to you, but there is no GL masterplan for SW, he's essenitally making this up as he goes, and contradicts himself on many occasions. In one interview he will say he always planned to make the pT, in another he'll claim that he never had any intent to make it and the episode numbers were just an homage to old serials.
