The PC hasn't been off in months and when i turned it off last night it just wouldn't restart. it tried to but failed after a few seconds and kept on trying. Luckily i know a bit about computers so i began testing that all the pci cards were in correct and changed all the cabling to the drives but still no luck. But then i tried removing the new drives and it started up without any problems. I was preying that its wasn't the drives so i plugged them back in and it failed to start again. So this time i unplugged 2 different drives and it again started up without problems. I'm such a dumb f**k at times. I totally forgot that when i upgraded to the quad core and added the 2 new drives that i should have got a higher powered power supply. I have a 550w at the moment and it looks like I've worn it out and its just unable to cope. This is going to have to wait until mid October when we get paid and i don't want to risk any damage to the pc so i'm using the wife's laptop now until i get the power supply. This project is as jinxed as ANH:R by the looks of things. But its my stupid fault for forgetting about the extra power requirements when i upgraded. So no more work on ESB:R until this problem is sorted i'm afraid. :(
Man, you just can't catch a break! We appreciate the work you do, and hey, at least you didn't lose everything or blow your motherboard!
