Good idea. And I forgot about that "we are vulnerable" line. That implies that not everything is finished, so they could still need the shield on Endor while the construction is completed, even if they take a hiatus to run off to Alderaan and blow it up. I'd just need to cut out the lines in Jedi stating the weapons aren't operational.
