there's not much to tinker with but when new stuff comes along, I definately want to add it...

Especially with how cool these new tracks are...

a more complete introduction to "Bails Escape" from episode III

"I am the Senate" is now complete... and there is a frightening as all hell expansion at the end of it...

The actual electrocution part of "Death of Mace" is now available... ie: "Un-Lim-a-ted ...POW-A!"

A bunch of little parts that need to be fixed... "Be Careful of Your Friend" is...haunting now... muxh better tahn the DVD rip...

And that's just the ROTS stuff that we've found... let alone a bunch of nice tidbits of AOTC heh

Hate to ask again, but has there been any progress on getting a place to store the soundtracks? I really, really want to hear ESB and ROTJ someday. ;)

I've been pretty busy... I'm still looking at all the choices... and there have been several... its not like I've forgotten.

I'M CLEANING UP SOME SPACE ON MY FTP SERVER AT THE MOMENT.  AS SOON AS GM IS READY I WILL BE TOO.  I'LL ALSO POST A SCHEDULE FOR THE SERVER WHEN THE TIME COMES.  THOSE INTERESTED WILL NEED A LOGIN AND PASSWORD, SO THEY WILL NEED TO CONTACT ME VIA PM.

I dont want to be rude here but I'm doing you all a favor.

Do you know how annoying it is when I get emails from people asking me to buy MY OWN SETS from them? I'm like "Excuse me... I MADE that set" and then they stop talkign to me...

Or when I check ebay and find that people are selling my sets through there...

It gets kinda annoying when I'm trying so hard to find a FREE way to send people my sets, only to be betrayed and have people reuploading the sets, converting the files into lower bit rates, selling them through ebay, removing all the artwork a friend of mine worked so hard to put in... or just ripping them apart and claiming credit...

So as far as I'm concearned, I'm gonna take as long as I need...until I feel comfortable... or trust people enough...

I'm just... annoyed that I keep geting asked. I get it... I'm gonna do it... But frankly, its more difficult than it's worth...

I have to redo my sets... which means breaking them down into small packages... uploading those... and then if I do flac, they take up a shit load of space, and I'll have to break those discs into more parts becuase their so big...

Some of my sets I want to redo.... so that takes 2-3 off the table... it's just a lot of work and I dont' have a lot of time these days..

I'm sure Johnny Ringo didn't mean to come off sounding like you owed him or the rest of us anything...I think he's just really excited....

Your feeling and reasons for being resentful are well taken...its a shame people are ripping aprt your work and it is pathetic that some are selling your work as well...by all means if you ever find out if someone on these boards was selling your work, please do share....we'll put them in their place...

That's the thing though... I have no way of knowing who... which, no offence to you PSYCHO, is a bit why I'm apprehensive of putting my things on your FTP... again, no offence meant...

And I do put a lot of work into these... and it's amazing how people just forget I did them... or don't download them and try to make their own edits and think they know what they're doing... lol

It's just funny... really... to see what people do and be like "No... that's not how it goes"... I dunno...

What is a GOOD size for a .rar since aparently making a single disc a rar isn't working...

GM, NO OFFENSE TAKEN.  LIKE I SAID, I'LL BE HERE TO HELP IF YOU NEED IT.  WHAT WOULD BE GREAT IS IF YOU COULD ENCRYPT THE .RAR FILE WITH A PASSWORD.  HOWEVER, THAT STILL WOULDN'T STOP PEOPLE FROM BEING ABLE TO SELL OR UPLOAD THE FILES TO OTHER SITES.  IT'S A SHITTY THING WHEN PEOPLE DO IT, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES SOMETIMES.  JUST ASK A LOT OF THE FANEDITORS ON HERE.

I COULD ALWAYS SET UP THE SERVER WHERE THOSE WHO WANT YOUR WORK WOULD HAVE TO PM YOU FOR THE LOGIN AND PASSWORD.  THAT WAY THERE WOULD BE A LIST OF THOSE WHO HAVE DOWNLOADED IT.  PLUS, THE PASSWORD CAN BE CHANGED TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVERY TIME THAT SOMEONE CONTACTS YOU.  

I CAN CREATE A GRAPHIC THAT HAS A WATERMARK EMBEDDED INTO IT FOR EACH DOWNLOAD.  THE WATERMARK WOULD BE UNIQUE TO EACH DOWNLOAD.  PLUS, THE FOLDER SHOULD CONTAIN A TEXT FILE STATING THAT IF THE GRAPHIC IS NOT INCLUDED THEN IT HAS BEEN PIRATED.  IF THAT TEXT FILE IS MISSING THEN IS WOULD ALSO BE OBVIOUS THAT IT WAS PIRATED.

I like the watermark idea... I think soemthing in the text should also state something like "By downloading this, you acknowledge that you already own the Albums and the DVD"

It's sad to hear about the troubles involved in this. And I think you know that certain ones of us ask simply because we're excited, as vbangle said. ;) Of course, take as much time as you need. Your post was very informative, which is the sort of thing I was kinda hoping to hear.

P.S. What's up with the font? Either my computer is being weird, or the default font here has changed. :p

IT CHANGED FOR ME TOO.

GM i can totally sympathise with you over someone profiting from your hard work. I went to the Midlands EXPO on Saturday and there was a guy there with some Imported DVD's and i spotted 3 copies of my Revisited edit. He even used my cover. At first i thought he might have just used my cover as a substitute and that it might not be Revisited so i asked him about it. He told me it was a pre- release of the new EPIV that would be coming out at X-mas with some major changes done to it. He had a portable DVD player so i asked him if i could see some of it before i purchased it. My jaw dropped when i saw my movie (minus the warning and menus). i told him that i would be back a bit alter to buy one but went to find one of the organisers. They were no help at all at first. they came with me to the stall and he produced some credentials and they said that it was a legit release and that i had no proof that it wasn't . i told them to play the end credits and produced my ID. they had a look at the disc and it was a factory pressed DVD. they still didn't believe me. I felt like punching the guy cuz he just had such a smug look on his face. But i had something that they couldn't dispute that this was indeed my edit. Luckily for me the EXPO was only 15 minutes from where i live so i got the wife to pop back home while i remained at the stall and get the original painting i did for the cover. You should have seen the look on his face when she came back with it. The guy just suddenly legged it with the copies of revisited, closely followed by security, leaving his stall unattended. At least my DVD collection has now grown somewhat. lol. but when i asked them later if he was being prosecuted they wouldn't give me any information at all. that's the last time i ever go there. I'm off to memorabilia in Birmingham in November so it will be interesting to see if he's there too.

3 copies? I guess the guy was small time...I know that's not much comfort...

I'd like to know where he got them....if they were in fact pressed DVD's, what DVD dupe house pressed copies of your edit? They're the ones you need to find out about and sue their asses off.....damn Ady, I wish England wasn't so far away...it would of been a fun bashing that dork.

i'd like to know that too. But i have seen this kind of thing before. Usually Asian imported and most of his stuff was Asian imported anime. they look more like commercial DVD's because they don't have the purple side like a recordable disc and are more silver than the usual gold. I'm going to keep an eye out at Memorabilia though and they come down a lot harder on bootlegs there.

Reminds me of a time when a guy I ordered a magazine subscription from off eBay suddenly disappeared. I, as well as many others, were up the creek. Most of those that paid by Paypal got their money back (apparently), but since I paid by money order, my $30 was gonzo. I'm glad it wasn't more! When I asked eBay what happened, they just said they don't discuss the particulars with customers. So my money was gone with zero explanation. Plus, the guy's reputation before then was stellar! It's almost as if he died or something. Very frustrating to say the least. But not nearly as much as you would have felt when you saw that shyster, I'm sure. I hope I'd've been able to keep my cool like that. Inside, I'd be a "swirling torrent of pain and misery." (Plankton) Smart thinking about the painting!

Do you remember the guy's name or a company name Adywan? We could scour the interwebs, leaving no tube unturned, to see if this guy has a website.
