Ady, surely there's an easier way for you to color correct without having to use tons of masks. I did a quick color correct on the original 2004 lucasfilm frame from the pic you posted. Only took me a couple of mineuts in photoshop to find a pure black and neutral color point to bring back the original color in the frame. Ah I don't get it? Is your example supposed to be the same or close to Adywan"s? It doesn't have the blue tint to it but still looks off and washed out to me..last time I looked Yoda wasn't grey.
Also there are weird color artifacts that are reddish brown on the lower half of yoda's face. The same with his tunic. These types of artifacts would be amplified with video because they would shift all over the place.
I'm really impressed with what Ady has been able to pull off with yoda... black magic indeed!
