hmm. not much info there at all.

Two reels, couldn't possibly be the entire film, could it? I don't know a lot about super 8.

I have heard of a 3 reeler as i gained info from the super8mm forum from a company named LA Films that was an hour long condensed cinemascope version.  also there is the Derann 6 reeler, this cannot be either.  Weird.

Did you ask the seller what this was?

Probably the same as all the others on ebay: clipshows.

Interesting followup... the seller never was able to provide further information, so I didn't bid.  The winner got it for about $45 (I was curious, but not that curious).  I wrote the winner and offered to digitize it for him, but got an EXTREMELY rude response.  So, I imagine for now it will remain a mystery.

A Super 8mm can hold almost two hours. I was actually thinking of ordering this but I'm not too sure seeing how there's almost no info.

Judging by the size of the reels, this wasn't the whole movie anyway. AFAIK, there wasn't a legit Super 8 release besides Derann, and that was the complete film.

I noticed the buyer seems to be selling a lot of Super 8 films, so we might find out what's on those reels eventually.

Although I think anyone who goes out of their way to send a nastygram in reply to a polite inquiry probably isn't someone worth doing business with. Let them get ripped off, so we don't have to! ;)
