Info Wanted: Which edit would be the best for me?

 (Edited)

Was watching a program the other night on UK TV called ‘Bring back Star Wars’ and it involved a comedian / journo running from place to place to try and find (and then reunite) old cast members of Star Wars. Watching the show made me realise just how old the original films and the people within it.

Watching the clips and whatnot made me realise I want to watch the films with the extra clarity of DVD but with some of the new stuff removed. Here’s what I would like in the specific versions and if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated:

A New Hope

Jabba Scene removed

Han Shooting first

Biggs removed

Not bothered by anything else really and would love it to have the DVD resolution

TESB

Exactly like DVD’s but with Jeremy Bullocks voice for Boba Fett and original Emperor.

ROTJ

Exactly like the DVD’s but with Sebastian Shaw playing Darth Vader.

I think for A New Hope Adywan's edit, might be what you're looking for.

A new release of Star Wars is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

He didn't take out Biggs, though - I personally don't have a problem with that since, honestly, I didn't mind the addition in the SE, and all the other things you mentioned have, ineed, been done, and done very well.

A tweaked GOUT would fulfil all your requirements.

Darth Editous' v3 doesn't have color correction, but there's no Biggs scene to bother you...

I don't think Ady's version would be what this guiy is looking for. Ady's edit is great, but it is just another SE with even more changes.

I don't know man, if I were you, I would forget DVD quality and go for purity the with the GOUT or one of the previous fan made LD transfers. Perhaps a  At least then you know you are watching the originals. The DVDs are so messed up as far as sound and colors go, I'd stay away from them. Even a de special editioned version is still the special edition, no matter how much cutting you will still have evidence of added CG and special effects.

Although the guy was banned, OCP's versions of these movies seems like the logical way to go?

Only problem is they'r not hosted anywhere :(

Will check out the other ones you guys mentioned.
