music in the ORIGINAL star wars movies

one of the saddest things, for me, about the Special Editions, was all the changes applied to the soundtrack of ROTJ. the original Lapti Nek song in Jabbas Palace had way more alien weirdness and quirkiness than the stupid funky pop song they replaced it with. what was that all about? pointless.

also, even more importantly, the original Ewok Celebration song at the end of the movie was fantastic, a highlight of the movie, and the way it segued into the closing theme was perfect. but it was ruined forever by Lucas' re-edits and new music which was just generic TV-movie crap.

I can't believe that Williams couldn't even get it to fit with the end title, but then again, he can't even make the finale fit with the end titles of TPM and AOTC, talk about awkward.

in case some of you don't know the words to "Yub Yub"...
