I've just sat through the AVCHD and there are glitches on the video and audio that aren't there in the original masters. I'm not going to bother doing another encode so i'm just going to switch back to my first encode, even though it now doesn't fill up the whole disc. the quality is exactly the same. so i'm going to add an extra audio track which will be the untouched laserdisc SE 5.1. so it probably won't be until later today that i start posting

Well, it's too bad that happened, but honestly...this is still very cool! ;) Looks the same, and will have an extra audio track? Not too shabby!
