Most of them will be closer to the theatrical SE releases than they appear now (apart from Han being the only one that shoots), so replacing the new with the old emperor and replacing Hayden. If i can get hold of the TPM laserdisc then i will be doing the theatrical version of TPM instead of the DVD version we have now. but removing things like Jedi Rocks i will leave to my Revisited edits
onto the debate about the size of tvs then i have to join in this
"Size matters not"... well a lot of times it doesn't. having a bigger screen doe not mean that the picture is better. in fact a larger screen could possibly introduce artefacts that aren't even there on the blu-ray/ AVCHD in the first place, and the same goes for smaller TV's. It all has to do with the quality of the panel (how much you paid for it or the manufacturer has nothing to do with it) many LCD's over 40" are using 8 or even 6 bit screens whereas other smaller ones are using 10 + bit. this does make a difference. colours just don't blend as well and even though you would be going through HDMi/digital connections the panel displays what looks like artefacts & fringing, that makes it look like compression problems, when in fact its not the case. if you have a 10+bit 32" LCD and a 60" 8 bit panel then the 32" is the one that would win every time as that is displaying closer to the original source than the 60" one. i never judge the quality of something just by the size of it there are so many other factors that have to go into consideration with TV's before the true quality of something can be argued
Agreed. I never said size was the only consideration.
