Since your little "fanboy jab was directed at me I'll just say this:
Your "Star Wars Revisited" is merely "Star Wars: The Extra Special Edition." So by OT.com standards your opinion on this matter is invalid. You are as bad as Lucas if not worse. You know what would make Star Wars even better? More Tie Fighters! (lol)
We need less childish drama over this kids movie. Didn't like it? Too bad. Stop acting like Lucas has slighted you personally. Some of you just need to let it go.
This isn't like Greedo shooting first. This isn't the Prequel Trilogy. Its a kids movie. Its fun and incredibly stupid. Some of you have forgotten how to experience joy. Others are just too old for this shit. Most people who saw the original SW in the theaters are at or over 40 years old. That's your problem right there. Well that and a complete lack of youthful imagination.
for gods sake, grow up and go back to TFN. it wasn't directed at you at all. Actually what you said was almost word for word from other sites so it was a generalised quote. And just because i have done a fan edit of the SE doesn't make my opinion on the Clone Wars invalid at all. Maybe you should do some research about the edit and about me before your childish attacks. You have just proved you know nothing at all, which makes your comments a lot more invalid than mine ever could be. sheesh, i guess you were bottle fed.
You just don't get it do you. It has nothing to do with how old someone is. If i had become too old and have no youthful imagination then i wouldn't still like Star Wars would i? and i also wouldn't have like the original Clone Wars cartoon either or anything else that specifically aimed at kids, but i do. This movie was horrendous , no matter how old you are. but there are still people out there that will say its good just because it has the tag "Star Wars" and will continue to defend any piece of crap that Lucas keeps on putting out. If this was good then i would have said that it was, but it wasn't and the majority of the world tend to agree.
And i probably have more "youthful imagination" as you call it than you ever could. and i did see it through a childs eyes: an 8 year old kid who loves Sci-Fi & Star Wars but hated the movie. And isn't the best critic for a movie aimed at kids is a child? enough said.
