Actually Johnboy3434, I disagree with you there. They are not ass kissers, but they will lie to defend George Lucas simply because it became such a basher/gusher issue over there, any normal debate was stifled after TPM.
I know for a fact, one of the leading gushers over there Cryogenic, used to talk about the PT and how great it was and he would go against all the bashers for railing against Lucas. Then in private, he would be a totally different person, as he stated to me once he hadn't even watched TPM for years, and finally bought it on DVD in 2006! He told me how crappy the movie was, and how George really blew it, and how it could have been better.
Then he would go on TFN and post how great the PT was again, and wondered what the hell is wrong with these people? Why would you post on a website and lie about how you feel towards the movies? I got this more and more as I became friends with many gushers and got them off the record in PM's, as they didn't hate me cause I wasn't a hardcore basher. Many others 'Gushers on TFN' would tell me the movies were flawed, etc, but they just felt they had to defend George Lucas cause they were not going to let the bashers win.
If you want, I can retrieve all my PM's at TFN, and show you proof of that nonsense that went on, as it was ridiculous that people werent' just being honest. What happened is they saw the same flaws we did in the movies, but didn't want to talk about them, so they went to the other extreme and starting taking down the OT, and saying how great the PT was. Kinda like Politicans do on TV, a republican will go on Meet the Press and say Democrats do EVERYTHING wrong, and Republicans do EVERYTHING right, and vice versa.
TFN is a truly pathetic site, cause many of the posters are not being honest, and they have an agenda to convince people to like a movie. For me, either you like em or not, what can you do?
