Again, brilliant work. Lucas himself has said the films are in some ways like silent films, carried mostly visually and with music. Both these clips, unlike the prequels themselves, live up to this, and I think the silent-montage technique works really well. I'm not a fan of 'love scenes' in general, simply because I think they're almost impossible to do well and mostly they're unnecessary, but I think it works here.

It also shows just how much the perceived suckiness of the prequels was due to the dialogue. Revenge of the Sith is regarded by many including myself as the strongest of the three, and it had Tom Stoppard working on the script; similarly, The Empire Strikes Back is regarded as the best of the series, and Lucas doesn't get a script credit at all for that one, just a story one. George Lucas can create wonderful worlds and clever plots, but he can't write dialogue.

Finally, if you're referring to the 'jerky' slow-motion effect, I don't mind it. It was done in the original Empire Strikes Back and I think in a film such as Star Wars Reborn which relies on the film medium so much, it suits it better.
