I haven't looked at the sequence where the Star Destroyers approach Hoth, but when they cut to the interior of the ship, having Hoth located to the left of the screen with no movement doesn't imply to me that they're approaching from the right side of the planet.  The perspective from the bridge would naturally be different than the exterior shot and that may indeed be their viewpoint.  However, if Hoth is "floating" to the left side of the screen in the interior shot, then by all means tweak that as the Destroyer is then headed on a different trajectory than the exterior shot.

I need to reiterate that I don't think any TIEs should be seen flying around Bespin until the Falcon starts its escape for reasons I went into a long time ago in pages far, far away....
