If the folks at Lucasland can release a $4000 box of pictures in a 2 foot wooden crate, then they are capable of thinking about making something "just for us obsessive types".

Best case scenario?  I think it will be only a box set, probably in only one format, hopefully blue-ray.  Because of the resolution of Blueray, the OOT will need a new transfer.  I think that LFL will generally learn from its mistakes and give us a pretty good anamorphic transfer with decent audio.  The films will look really good, but really won't be cleaned up.  It will likely be a new film transfer, but still have the scratches and other defects.

Each movie will have 2 discs.  For the prequels, we will get the "Theatrical Editions" and the "Director's Cut".  The directors cut of AOTC and ROTS will likely be edited to include references to events in the new Clone Wars movie.  For the original trilogy, we get the OOT transfer and the latest SE.  The '97 SE's are lost to history, you won't see them again.  Then there will be new bonus discs, one for the prequel trilogy and one for the classic trilogy.  The documentaries will be full of 'revisionist history', but will also have a decent collection of deleted scenes.

That's my best case scenerio.
