Yeah, well that is one thing that puts these boards a cut above the rest. Maybe that is another reason why so many of us here could be categorized as "right-wingers, because our stance for low level government control bleeds over into our forum visiting preferences. If you notice, the moderators around here take a hands off approach to governing this site (i.e. no silly rules such as "no political discussion", as it seems, according to Octorox, many other boards do. The moderators spring into action only when necessary.

I don't see the problem with discussing politics on a board like this, I never feel any differently towards fellow board members who have expressed different political view points from myself, that would be rather silly.

Also, I honestly do not believe that there are really an exceptionally larger number of right leaning board members as opposed to left leaning. There have been a relatively small number of members who hang out in the politics thread, mostly the same small group of us. The majority of that group may seem to lean to the right, but that says nothing about all those members who do not participate in political discussions.
