I cannot wait for this. About the crawl, am I nuts, or is the GOUT opening shot (including the crawl, pan down and the ships flying overhead) look noticeably better than the rest of the movie? Apart from the whole non-amamorphic-ness the film source looks good to me, I wonder what it is...

I believe the consensus is that the opening shot must have been captured from a proper film source, and was edited in from the opening logo, to the subsequent shot after the initial pan down. It makes for a great source if I can just get the aliasing off the edges in the back lines.
