Just different tastes. It is not that I don't care to explain myself, I am not sure exactly what it is, I just don't enjoy it. bkev hit the nail on the head when he said that it is a niche. I have nothing against people who like it, like I said many of my friends do. In fact, since so many of my friends liked it so much, I used to try really hard to like it. I was convinced that somewhere out there existed something I'd like, but I have still yet to find any.

My friend gave me a copy of Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the PS2. He is not really a DZB fan or huge anime fan either, but for some reason he was really into these Tenkaichi games, and since he wanted someone to play against he got me a copy, in hopes that I would play it enough to get good at it and provide him with a decent challenge.

So, I spent some time playing this game, I actually liked it, it was pretty fun. Not a lot of lasting appeal though. After playing it quite a bit and kind of getting into the storylines, I decided I ought to check out some DBZ, so I borrowed a few episodes from another friend who had a pretty big DBZ collection, he carefully selected some episodes he felt could entertian a new comer to the DBZ universe. Long story short, I didn't make it past the first 15 minutes before turning it off (which I had wanted to do 5 minutes in) and picking up my PS2 controller to play some more Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

Don't get me wrong, I am not an anime hater, I have nothing against it. Just isn't my thing.
