Star Trek Remastered never affected the plot, only enhanced it. They tried to fix mistakes and redo the space effects, not make the Gorn shoot first. Sure, some of the motion is pretty bad, but overall I think STR worked out rather well.
This is probably going to get me killed, but did Star Wars SE really change the story that much? I always thought that the stories were the same, it was just some of the effects.
