It's a good trailer for a movie. However, will it faithfully translate the book's essence as it absolutely should? There are enough key changes that my worries in that area have remained unchanged.
My favorite aspects of the graphic novel were every Rorschach scene and how dorky and real-to-life both Night Owl and Silk Spectre were as superheroes. The trailer shows the key Rorschach stuff, so I'm happy about that, but perhaps it won't all be portrayed in a way that gets the same feeling of petty, pathetic-ness that really left me wanting to see him succeed in his . . . hopeless mission I guess. And, the stuff with Night Owl and Silk Spectre might be too on the bad-ass side and not as touching in the sense of them being real people. But, I saw nothing contradicting those aspects of the story, so I shall remain hopeful.
