Sure, Star Wars and Trek may have an unofficial (and overstated) rivalry, but personally I am a trekkie as well, and Trek is a monumental franchise in science fiction history. I agree, all rivalries should be limited to purists v. lucas apologists, otherwise things will get very confusing. Though I will say that I'm probably disqualified as a Trekkie since Voyager is my favorite of the series. And as I understand it, it is not held in such high regard by true fans...

Back to the topic: I was wondering if the shield generator model was created from scratch or made from existing items, like so many SW props...
