doh! I encountered another problem. Since its actually my sister's computer that has the burner, I tried to put the revisited.iso file onto a usb-drive but it just won't work. It keeps claiming that the disk is full even though I've checked the numbers and there should be almost half the space left. That should be plenty of room, so I'm a bit lost on this one. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Is there any hidden software on the USB drive?  Some of them come with assorted applications and freeware in hidden/protected directories that tries to pretend it isn't there.

So I watched it yesterday. Despite being a purist, I appreciated how much more intense the Vader/Obi-Wan duel was. I couldn't help but giggle when Chewbacca got his medal. I liked the Evazan arm in place of the hairy one. Excellent job.

USB drives are usually formatted in FAT32, which can only handle 4 GB files maximum.  I had the same problem.

Ah not really. USB could care less what file system the drive is formated with. It's like saying IDE drives are usually formatted in FAT32.

Anyway....all my USB drives are NTFS....never had a problem. The only reason to be using FAT32 is if you were still running Win98....go NTFS, much better. :)

I love everybody. Lets all smoke some reefer and chill. Hug and kisses for everybody.

Actually you are both correct. Most USB drives come default format of fat32.....all you have to do is right click on the USB drive from my computer and choose format. Make sure you choose NTFS so it will allow a file larger that 2GB. That should allow you to copy to the drive......you could always create a share and copy it across your in home network as well:)

I think you mean "USB couldn't care less". See, it actually makes logical sense to say that. "Couldn't care less" literally means "doesn't care at all". "Could care less" implies that it does. And so help me I will hunt down and kill any of you who make that mistake again.

LOL. I was just thinking about that the other day. Glad I'm not the only one. :D

Well, I've just watched Star Wars Revisited for the first time. Amazing job. Just perfect. I love the new Obi-Wan vs. Vader duel, love the Cantina sequence, and you've given the Death Star trench run some much-needed excitement. The rearranged scene in Obi-Wan's hut flows so much better now! This is definitely replacing my 2004 ANH DVD! And yes, at least for me, this version beats the original '77 version. I just hope you can give the other films of the saga this much improvement!

The Revisited Edition is AWESOME! Thanks for this!

After getting the DVD 9 PAL Version via PIF from Englang (THAAANKS!!!).. I have now three PIF places.

I only own the DVD 9 PAL Version, nothing other to PIFfing jet. Because of not having some possibility to print (I only own a Black and White Laser Printer) I would just PIFfing the Disc.. so.. first come first serve ;) Three PIF Chain places to go..

Edit:

Sorry, while reading the disc in my PC I allways get CRC errors. My PS3 is playing the movie (not testet it fully, jet) I will open my PIF places when solved this problem. Hope it just a problem with my DVD drives...)

I've been looking for red/blue 3D glasses since the DVD-9 came out so I could see the Jabba scene in its new 3D glory, but I really didn't want to have to buy some 3D coloring book or something in order to get one.  So I was at Wal-Mart the other day and I saw a huge display for Hannah Montana's new 3D DVD.  I ignored it until we were in the checkout line when I noticed the word "FREE."  On top of this display rack were hundreds of red/blue 3D glasses, free for the taking.  I ended up taking 4, just in case I have a party and want everyone to see it.

Yeah, you'd look stupid with Hannah Montanta star-shaped 3D glasses, but they're free!  Check your Wal-Marts, or wherever crappy Hannah Montana stuff is sold.

I have a copy of the NTSC DVD9 that I got from a generous board member. PM me if you need a copy PIF'd to you.

A black Sharpie can fix that real quick.

Well, sadly, after looking up what the glasses look like on google image search, I'm concluding that the "free Hanna Montana 3d glasses" are polarized lenses (in black plastic "Harry Caray" style frames), not the familiar red & blue that would let you view the Jabba images.

I once though it would be easier to just make my own, but it seems like obtaining the right colors of cellophane and cardboard (or cheap sunglasses and plastic) is just as much bother to obtain as the glasses themselves.

I have a pair of red and blue glasses, and I must say I didn't really see a 3-D effect. :-/

Did none of you get the deluxe Family Guy Blue Harvest box set? There's 3D glasses in there.  May even be in the standard version, assuming the disc content is the same as for the box set.

I know what you're talking about, those are the 3D glasses for the Disney 3D digital theater release.  The one advertised at Wal-Mart is the Disney Channel version of the concert, which was re-rendered for red/blue glasses, so that's what they're giving away.  They still had a few hundred if anyone lives in south central Indiana...  I tried out the Jabba scene and you really had to squint, but sure enough Jabba and Han kind of poked out of the frame a bit.  It's not much, but when it's just one guy doing it for the heck of it, it's pretty awesome.

I really need to suggest that someone 3D the scenes from Jaws 3-D as a fan edit...

I was at my local (Ontario) Wal-Mart today and saw those Hannah Montana glasses, but I thought sure they were 50 cents. Didn't end up getting any, but I shoulda. Anyway, I've made my own before using those plastic essay folder thingies. Might still have them around somewhere.

Maybe they charge some places because you aren't the first person to think they charged for them, but they were definately labelled free on my standee.  I was thinking of grabbing more, like a bunch...

I tried watching the Jabba 3D scene on a small screen (12 inch) CRT and it didn't even look 3D, just oversaturated a bit. On my LCD monitor it looks green/red.

I don't have the glasses, but I guess I could get to Wal-Mart and try a pair of free glasses. I was wondering how hard it would be to make the whole movie 3D?

But the effect might need some work.

I've just burned Ady's purist edit with success and everything looks great so far. I want to really thank adywan for doing this for so many fans out there. As far as I'm concerned, the 2004 ANH DVD is dead to me now. Ady's edit all the way, and the best of luck with the ESB edit!

There was some talk a little while ago about a multi-disc cover for this set.  Did anyone finish one?
