i guess you didn't read what i wrote. How the hell was he a great pilot. Everything he did in the Naboo starfighter was an accident. he was a bungling fool that didn't know what the hell he was doing. All he did was do a fancy spin and then get hit by and disabled. yeh, great pilot. Now if he had deliberately piloted the ship into battle and fought the enemy the destroyed the control ship on purpose then it would have gone some way to say he was a great pilot. And wasn't the pod race supposed to be an intergalactic speedway race? so wouldn't that make him a driver and not a pilot?
