Octorox said:Okay, I won't bring it up anymore. It's your edit and I have no right to argue. I guess it's just that I grew up with the PT and the KOTOR game so to me sith eyes=dark side. However you DID add things from the PT in ANH Revisited (The AOTC Death Star Schematics, a Battle Droid in the junkpile and the Battle of the Heroes music, all additions that I loved) and you did say that one of your primary concerns with these edits was to bridge the PT and the OT. Also I would hate to see the Sith eyes removed in ROTS...and btw Dooku was a conflicted character, he never really drew from the Dark Side as heavily as the others, I honestly like edits where he gets a yellow lightsaber and he would only need Sith eyes in parts of the fight scene with Yoda...but I digress
Anyway here's a more important concern. The red lighting from the Executor's engines look incredibly fake in many shots, like the back part of the Exercutor was just tinted red, there's no real lighting and it almost looks like static flames or something are sprouting out of the back. I'm talking about side shots of the Executor like this one
Looks nothing like
Also to echo my suggestion again about the lack of green in the surface of Dagobah as viewed from Outer Space.
Lastly I really would have liked 1080p so that the project is essentially future-proof (for a while anyway) but beggers cant be choosers
The Death Star schematics were first seen in its red mesh form in ROTJ and with having the scheamtics matching that style in AOTC it was a logical addition and wasn't because it featured in the PT. The battle droid was just an in joke and the music was just to mirror the original duel and not anything like adding things like Sith Eyes. There's a fine line to get a bit fanwanky when doing an edit like this and adding stuff for the hell of it. Some of the ideas i had when starting this whole project seemed great at the time and cool but i have to take a step back and there has to be a logical reason why its added and not just because it will look cool.
The engine colour of the Executor in your shot is down to the colour mess of the 2004 versions. the pre-2004 versions have the engines the proper colour throughout and don't look fake.
